??? Our studio Practice Challenge is officially over! All students need to tally up their practicing totals and bring them to lessons next week! The winner will be announced next Wednesday evening, Dec. 6! Will anyone beat Sara?.... we will see!???
Just as a side note: Congrats on all my students who have taken this challenge and run with it! I have seen so much improvement with our Christmas songs!! Way to go!! This goes to show that practice does make almost perfect!!!?

Teacher vs. Student Practice Challenge

I have signed up to play the harpsichord (very old, first piano) for the Saratoga Springs/Eagle Mountain performances of Handel's Messiah on Sunday, December 3 and Friday, December 8 at 7 p.m. This is a new opportunity for me to practice music that I have never played before and gain experience in making a piece performance ready. In preparation for this, I've decided to include my students in a studio challenge....
Can you practice more than your teacher? You were just recently given new Christmas music to perform. I have also just been given new music that I need to learn to perform. So, the challenge is this: you have two weeks to log all your practice time of your Christmas music. If by Wednesday, November 29th any student has practiced more than Sara, you will win a reward!! Sara will be handing out practice logs for this challenge at this week's lessons. (If you do not receive one this week, please start logging your time in your notebooks!)
